Sagramore is actually around the back working on his chicken palace -- Laertes has done a majority of the construction, but Sagramore himself is putting in the chicken wire and making sure it's secure from predators¹, as well as bringing fresh clean hay² from the stables to line the nesting boxes and make them cozy. He's been meaning to ask Grantaire for help with painting a mural on the outside of this absolutely ridiculous building³, but keeps forgetting, so it's only right Grantaire should be the one to disturb him at his work.

When he hears Grantaire's distant bellow, he comes around the side of the house, timothy stuck in his hair and collar, beaming.

"Jesu Christ, both of thee!"
